Transformative writing workshops

with Jen Cross

Transforming our language is one way we transform our lives. How we speak reveals how we see ourselves and the world around us. Changing our language has the effect of changing who we know ourselves to be.

Writing free and deep can be both mentally & physically healing!

Declaring Our Erotic and Writing Ourselves Home workshops are exercise-initiated and permissive writing groups. Participant writers are encouraged to play, risk, stretch and celebrate their complex, full, and fully-brilliant selves.

In the Declaring Our Erotic writing groups, we write in response to exercises that invoke various aspects of our erotic, sexual and sensual selves, in a safe and confidential group of peers. This group is designed to leave participants more comfortable with sexual language, as well as with the fullness and complexity of their own, individual sexual desire.

In Writing Ourselves Home workshops, we write in response to exercises chosen to elicit deep-heart writing, and deal with such subjects as: body image, family/community, sexuality, dreams, love, faith, and more. This writing can deepen participants' relationships with their own writing, and can create an internal space intended to encourage healing, integration and wholeness.

Open to folks of all writing abilities: whether you write regularly, are an infrequent journaler, or used to write and would like to again, these workshops are for you!
